The new design

The V4 introduces updates that you’ll feel from the first session.

A narrower outline on the mid-range sizes gives the board a faster, more agile feel. Perfect for riders looking for extra precision and responsiveness. The 70L size now sits perfectly between sinker and mid-size boards, offering the best of both worlds.

The tail has been refined too: a narrower back section releases water more cleanly, giving smoother flow and improved control in carving turns. The result is a board that feels more efficient through the water.

DESIGN

A slightly increased nose rocker helps the board get onto foil faster and makes it more forgiving when accelerating or cutting through chop, giving you softer, smoother, and more predictable touchdowns.

The new concave deck under the front foot locks you in, enhancing grip and connection with the foil. It provides clear feedback without sacrificing comfort, while the extra front-end volume adds stability when you need it most.

All these updates come together to make the Appleslice V4 feel more reactive, controlled, and confident. A true evolution of the design.

Refined setup

The updated insert configuration keeps the board lighter overall. The new deck pad layout now extends further toward the tail and lies flatter, offering a smoother setup and better protection during transport.

CONSTRUCTION

Appletree have also shifted the wide point slightly forward to create more lift under the front foot. This makes early take-off easier and gives the board a naturally balanced glide. Especially noticeable in smaller, performance-oriented volumes.
