ABOUT POSEIDON
Poseidon Watersports was founded in 2013 by international rider - Chris Burke who has been involved in the Watersports industry since 2002.
Originally a kite school, Poseidon quickly developed to include retail, holidays + clubs growing a strong + far reaching community of like minded riders.
Receiving several awards along the way, Poseidon has always been focused on premium quality, expertise + growing the sports we love. Introducing Wing + Surf foiling as they simultaneously exploded onto the scene in 2020, Poseidon then expanded into Newquay, Cornwall in 2022.
Based at the heart of the Cornish watersports scene, Poseidon’s ethos + experience is what makes it stand out as the go to destination for kit + coaching across a range of sports.

FOUNDERS
Chris’s background as an International park style kiteboarder took him across the world competing, creating content + coaching before setting his personal plans in motion at Poseidon. His taste for risk taking has driven his riding, whilst his passion of supporting others led him into an acclaimed career of coaching. Now a BKSA and IKO advanced coach, a test rider for the Foiling Magazine + the key driving force behind Poseidon, he’s always ready to advise + help with kite or foil at your local, his + on the phone.
Georgina is the creative side of Poseidon. A writer by trade, ‘Gig’ has put aside her childhood dreams to be a pig farmer, now the second in command at Poseidon + most devoted Mummy to her children. With a background in marketing she has an eye for detail + has spent time creating content for a host of household names across a variety of industries.
The creator of Poseidon content, when she’s not writing children's books or shuffling to old school garage, Gig is the form to Poseidon’s function.
