LOCATIONS

We use a variety of amazing locations in Cornwall for training and sessions, chosen based on water state, the wind and tides.
Selecting the best one for the each session, we are fortunate to have some of the most varied and exciting conditions in the UK which can offer an ideal ideal beginner or advanced environment all within a 45 minute drive.
HAYLE RIVER MOUTH
Our location of choice, Hayle rivermouth offers a large expense of varied water conditions where the estuary meets the Atlantic.
Often considered the best location in Britain, this stunningly beautiful site offers flat water shallow lagoons, deep channels and wave breaks which peel left and right into a predictable shoulder.
With the estuary emerging NW riders can choose to ride on the north side (the Bluff), the southside (poles) or between the 2 to find conditions suitable for kite, wing, prone and tow.
With a large tidal range and flow, sessions here are dictated not only by wind direction, but also the tide.

Watergate Bay
A classic location situated just North of Newquay, Watergate Bay is a long, wide beach which faces NW.
Exposed to the Atlantic, Watergate is often a go-to for riders of all sports looking for space and stronger conditions on smaller days.
With various sections along it's length kite, wing and prone riders generally head north or south to find a quieter and more mellow section.
Here it's important for riders to plan sessions around the tide to ensure the beach has ample space for a safe exit.

Parr Sands
A shallow shelving, exposed beach on the Southcoast, Parr doesn't register as one of Cornwalls most beautiful spots, but for wind sport riders it's a staple location for safe riding in prevailing conditions.
Working in most tides, Parr is waist deep for around 75 meters and generally sheltered from big swell, making it a calmer location and good for learning to kitesurf.

The Gazzle / Newquay bay
'The Bay' is renowned as a staplespot for learning to surf due to its exposure to swell which hits a sea floor topography which forms a gentle wave.
With a 1km headland situated at it's soutwestern end, at it's point wing and tow foilers can access the open rolling swell with relative ease, riding in deep water away from the crowds.
Not a spot you'd want to ride totally alone due to the distance from shore, this spot it a good option for Newquay locals or visitors.

cornwall
Extending out into the Atlantic as the most South-Western tip of Britain, Cornwall not only has some of the most beautiful locations in the country, but also boasts some of the best conditions for Watersports.
With over 400 beaches each of which change dramatically through the tide, all facing different directions with rugged headlands + fast currents, local knowledge is everything is Cornwall + if you know where to go + when - there are world class conditions regularly, generally within 40 minutes travel.
Beginners head to the calmer and shallower shelving beaches of Watergate Bay, Daymer Bay, Hayle, Marazion, Hawkers Cove + Par Sands when the tide makes conditions calmer. More advanced riders might choose different tide states or head to more lively beaches such as Gwithian or Crantock among others.
