FLAT WATER AND WAVES AVAILABLE IN EVERY WIND DIRECTION, THE ISLE OF WIGHT IS AN OVERLOOKED OCEAN PLAYGROUND

We love to take trips over to the Isle of Wight when we’re not teaching in Poole Harbour. A short trip over the Solent, the Isle of Wight, known as the "Active Island" is a watersports playground and a favourite on our ‘spot guide’. Just 23 miles wide it has beaches on all sides, offering the option of wave or flat water riding within a a cruisy 30 minute drive in all wind directions.

Our favourite is when the winds blow from the North. Offshore on most of the mainland, it blows towards the golden sands of Ryde and Seaview.

Accessible by car ferry or the cheap and easy foot passenger hover craft, Ryde is a wide, shallow shelving beach offering flat water and plenty of space at all states of the tide. It's ideal for freeriding or freestyle.

ADVANCED CLINICS

When we’re headed that way, we’ll be running a series of advanced clinics, catering from first turns and jumps to kiteloops and unhooked moves.

Tailored to individual's with a plan made around the weather and the group, Chris will be running clinics to our advanced coaching scheme.

Clinics will run for 3 hours in a group environment at the cost of £75 per person.
